Write at Home

Do you ever wish you could get away from it all and get some serious writing done?

Have you ever set aside time to write, only to sit down and get nothing done?

Hi, I’m Heather Hart and I’ve been writing my entire life. I was first published at 16, and have been working as an author assistant and mentor for over a decade.

One problem that seems to be common among authors is the desire to write, and the inability to do so.

Between family, health, and social media, distractions abound. Life abounds, and that’s awesome. But wouldn’t it be great to enjoy your life and get some writing done?

If you’re anything like me, you’re tempted to post a GIF that says, “yes!” in an exasperated fashion.

(If GIFs aren’t your thing, it’s okay, we can still be friends.)

Anyway, all of that is part of the reason I put together my new Writer’s Retreat Workbook.

The workbook releases in June, however early reviewers were so excited about it, I wanted to offer a sneak peek.

That’s where you come in.

I’d like to invite you to join me May 1st-7th for Write at Home. It’s an event designed to help authors fit writing into the schedule of their everyday lives.

How it works

  1. Start with Jesus
Each morning, you’ll receive a devotional via email, along with a recommended worship song.
  2. Daily Encouragement
We’ll meet each morning at 9:00 AM to talk about our goals, work out problems, and pray.
Just a Note: There won’t be a daily encouragement mastermind on Sunday as we’ll be at church. The final encouragement session will be Friday the 7th.
  3. Write It
You’ll get my writing session template. Sessions are outlined for three hours each, however you can shorten them as needed. There is no pressure to do more than you are able. Just for signing up, we’ll cover your writing in prayer.
  4. Don’t Go It Alone
Every evening we’ll have a mastermind meeting where you can talk through your struggles, celebrate victories, and fellowship with other authors. Our final mastermind will be Thursday the 6th at 7 PM.
  5. Plus…
Every author who signs up will get my eBook, Write at Home. In it, I share my formula for writing at home so you can get more writing done well after this event has ended.

I’ve seen similar writing events sell for hundreds of dollars, but this isn’t about making money. It’s about helping you get your book written.

Just to show you’re serious, I’m asking you to invest five bucks.

You might spend more than that on coffee each week.

For Just $5 You’ll Get

  • 7 Email Devotions
  • Access to 12 Mastermind/Encouragement Sessions
  • My Writing Session Outline to use with your schedule.
  • Plus I’ll share my writing method that will help you get more done without leaving home.

Talk about a bargain.

I didn’t even mention that I’ll be sharing the background music I play while writing to help me focus. It was composed with authors in mind and you can’t get it anywhere else.

Frequently Asked Questions

Got a question? Check these out…

1. But I Don’t Write on Weekends

I don’t either! However, some authors only write on weekends. This event lasts all week long so you can join in when it’s best for you. Even if you can only fit in one writing session, it’s still one step in the right direction!

2. I Only Write on Weekends…

That’s 100% okay! You can join in when is best for you. Every writing session you do is that much closer to finishing your book. Plus, while the live events only last for a week, you’ll have access to my writing music, the writing session outline, etc. forever!

3. If I Can’t Make the Live Sessions Will They Be Recorded?

Yes! …and no. The morning encouragement section will be recorded, however we will not record any personal information that is shared. This means, prayer requests, goals, progress, etc. won’t be available in the replay.

4. I Can’t Join Right Away…

No biggy! Enrollment will stay open through Thursday morning. If you want to join in mid-week, you can totally do so. You’ll still get access to all the information, the music, etc. and you can join any sessions that haven’t happened yet.

5. I Seriously Don’t Have $5, But This Sounds Awesome! Can I Get a Sponsored Spot?

Of course! Just send me a message on Facebook and we’ll work it out.

On a personal note, I’ve been there. So I get it. You won’t find any judgement or condemnation by sharing this with me.

6. Something Came Up, Can I Get A Refund?

Unfortunately, no. You’ll have access to the eBook, writing session outline, and writing music forever. I’m sorry you won’t be able to make the live events, but we’ll still be praying for your writing time.
